A temporary installation just in front of Borsa Italiana, ie the Italian Stock Exchange (part of the London Stock Exchange), as well as my former (and appreciated) employer. It’s clear that this installation is highly provocative, anyway it sorts of feels good after all the abuse and crap we received and keep receiving from banks and other financial institutions, though not the Stock Exchange itself to be fair but Cattelan couldn’t find a more unifying symbol for Milan’s finance scene. Perhaps Mediobanca but I’m digressing… A former colleague made me laugh with his comment… “we do indexes here, so clearly that statue is not referred to us” Fair enough, how could have I possibly answered back?
